Hiranya is a Sri Lankan-born Australian visual artist and a writer based in Brisbane, Australia.

She produces figurative works derived from memories and experiences through various reflexions of today’s social, cultural and economic ambience. Her artistic expressions and techniques cerebrate her South Asian cultural heritage enriched by the traditional works of local masters and the studies of classical Indo-Aryan painting styles.
